the NEST

the NEST (Nurturing Empathy and Self-esteem Together) is a new alternative provision based in Dee Space in Reading

• We take secondary-aged (Key stage 3 and 4) learners from September 2025
• We support learners in their development of Functional Skills (English, maths, IT, science) as well as life, self-care, creative, enterprise and community skills
• We want to create a learning environment together with young people
• We are particularly keen to welcome neuro-divergent learners, learners with disabilities and other SEN and learners who have experienced bullying.
