Safeguarding concerns
If you are worried for your immediate safety or that of a child then call 999 immediately.
If you wish to speak to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) then please call: 0118 449 27 63 or email: dsl@thenest-ed.uk with your concerns in as much detail as possible including:
- The name of the person you are concerned about
- Names of any other people you think are involved and in what capacity
- Any dates, times, locations or evidence you have for your concerns
- The reason for your concerns (include as much context as possible)
- Your observations (include as much context as possible)
- Any disclosures that have been made to you (in the young person's words as much as possible)
Alternatively you can access our Safeguarding Concern Report. This allows for anonymous reporting if you would feel safer using this. Where possible, it is best to know who is expressing the concern, since it aids investigations but we understand that for some people it may be important to remain anonymous.
